Teacup Pin Cushion

Grandma Velma's is so pretty.  I use it so much now as a pin cushion; I like to think she'd be okay with that.

First I dried out some used coffee grounds and stuffed them into the toe of a pair of old pantyhose.  Yes I still had some laying around even though I haven't worn them in years.

I hot glued that to the bottom of the cup and then hot glued a piece of scrap fabric around the edges to the top of that.

It's pretty, I used what I had on hand (all free including recycling coffee grounds), and now I get to use it all the time instead of having this china gem sitting on a shelf collecting dust.  What's not to like about all that?

Fits nicely in my sewing box.
